ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSOCIATE
General Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for maintaining a systematic set of accounts receivable records and posting all payments and adjustments that are received on a daily basis. Posts and balances each remittance advice on a daily basis.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Verifies and posts accounts receivable transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.

Investigates/resolves denied and short paid transactions in a timely and effective manner.

Manages work queue to insure all accounts are worked, timely and appropriately in monthly cycle.

Sorts and files documents after posting.

Experience in collections
-
Assist in operating expense statements and budget preparation.

Other ad hoc projects, as necessary.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications for the Job:

Education:
-
Associates degree in accounting preferred or transactional accounting experience.

Experience:
-
Three (3) to five (5) years of accounting work experience. / Preferred Associates Degree

Knowledge of general accounting procedures.

Proficient computer skills working with various office equipment, computers and various programs including databases, Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:

Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment.

$18-$22 per hour | Monday – Friday | 8 am – 5 pm
