The Specialty Decorating Operator is responsible for setting up multiple machines effectively to produce orders in conformance with customer specifications while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. The Operator will ensure color accuracy as well as print and engraving quality while meeting customer deadlines.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of the department.

  • Operate and maintain several types of decorating equipment, including pad printers, CO2 laser, fiber laser and flat-bed UV printers.

  • Maintain a consistent quality of imprints throughout the production run.

  • Meet standards for capacity and quality.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot decoration quality issues.

  • Package products to quality control standards.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help other production departments meet deadlines.

  • Cross train throughout all production departments to expand job knowledge.

Qualifications for the Job:

  • Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator is beneficial, but not required. Will train on job.

  • Experience with CorelDraw is beneficial, but not required. Will train on job.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
