PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

General Job Description

The Production Associate helps support the smooth operation of six manufacturing lines. The primary functions are to perform the tasks by following standard practices, meeting expectations, and achieving required quality standards. This position is a versatile one and can encompass many different functions on a line and the ability to learn multiple tasks effectively and to be motivated to perform is key. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete on-site training and prove your ability to effectively perform tasks.

  • Rotate through assigned assembly line tasks for specific production processes, with consistent speed and accuracy.

  • Conduct regular quality inspections of bottles and components to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.

  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure production deadlines are met.

  • Follow all written and verbal instructions.

  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area at all times.

  • Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.

  • Attend all safety and production trainings.

  • Report to work regularly and on time.

  • Other duties as needed, to optimize operational productivity.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gain a basic understanding of 5S.

  • Cross train to expand job knowledge.

Qualifications for the Job:

  • Education:

    • High School diploma or GED.

  • Experience:

    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment helpful but not required.

    • Willing to hire and train inexperienced employees who are motivated to put in a good day's work and meet our production demands.

  • Able to work independently and with a team.

  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Willing to learn new processes and software.

  • Willing to give suggestions to improve processes.

  • Willing to comply with all safety guidelines at all times.

  • A self-starter - intrinsically motivated

  • Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching.

  • Able to work overtime as needed to ensure on time delivery.
