SALES REPRESENTATIVE

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative whose primary focus is converting qualified leads into long-term customer accounts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a new business environment, enjoys building relationships quickly, and has a strong sense of ownership from first conversation to close.
 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Convert inbound and outbound leads into active, revenue-generating accounts

  • Proactively prospect new business through outreach, networking, and referrals

  • Quickly establish rapport and credibility with decision-makers

  • Identify customer needs and align solutions that drive value

  • Manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasts in CRM tools

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (customer service, operations, IT) to ensure smooth onboarding and execution

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments
     

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate reports for customers and leadership within the organization.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to document best practices within Sales Department.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

  • Associate degree or equivalent (NOTE: A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education listed.)

Experience:

  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account acquisition

  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tools

  • Background in B2B sales environments

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES

  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tools

  • Promotional products or uniform industry knowledge

  • Strong prospecting and lead-conversion skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage several projects at once

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and support shared goals

Monday – Friday | 8 am – 5pm | $63k - $67k annually | Performance-based incentives | On-site in Binghamton, NY
