TeamWorld Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 11, 2026
Applies To: TeamWorld websites, online stores, digital services, and related customer interactions (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Purpose and Commitment
TeamWorld Inc. (“TeamWorld,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting personal information and managing information security through risk-based controls, continuous improvement, and accountability. This Privacy Policy describes how TeamWorld collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information in connection with the Services.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to:
-
Visitors to TeamWorld websites and storefronts;
-
Customers, prospective customers, and authorized users of TeamWorld Services; and
-
Communications with TeamWorld (e.g., support requests, feedback forms, email, and phone interactions).
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that TeamWorld does not control.
3. Definitions
For this Policy:
-
Personal Information / Personal Data means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual.
-
Processing means any operation performed on personal information (collection, use, disclosure, storage, deletion, etc.).
-
Service Provider / Processor means a third party processing personal information on TeamWorld’s behalf under contract.
-
Controller means the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal information.
4. Information We Collect
4.1 Information You Provide Directly
We may collect information you provide to us, including:
-
Contact data (such as name, company, email address, phone number, and mailing address);
-
Account, order, and transaction details;
-
Customer service and support communications; and
-
Feedback, files, and other content you submit to us.
4.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:
-
Device and browser characteristics;
-
IP address and other network identifiers;
-
Date/time stamps, referring URLs, page interactions, clickstream, and navigation data; and
-
Cookies and similar technologies.
4.3 Payment Information and Tokenization (Revised)
We do not store full payment card numbers on TeamWorld systems. Payment card information is processed by our payment service providers (PSPs).
If a customer elects to save payment credentials (where available), the PSP returns and stores a payment token (a surrogate value) that TeamWorld may use for permitted follow-on transactions. If a customer does not save credentials, TeamWorld processes the transaction without storing a reusable card token on TeamWorld systems.
TeamWorld may receive limited payment and transaction metadata from the PSP, such as card brand, last four digits, expiration details, billing address (if applicable), authorization/transaction identifiers, and status data.
We use payment tokens (when available) and related metadata to:
-
Process payments;
-
Process refunds and chargebacks;
-
Support fraud prevention and security monitoring; and
-
Perform accounting and financial reconciliation.
Access to payment-related data and systems is limited to authorized personnel and service providers with a legitimate business need and is protected by administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Where applicable, payment processing is performed in accordance with PCI DSS obligations.
We retain payment tokens (when applicable) and related transaction records only as long as necessary for operational, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, legal, and security purposes, and then delete or de-identify the information as permitted by applicable law.
4.4 Information from Other Sources
We may receive:
-
Order or fulfillment updates from partners;
-
Fraud/security signals from service providers; and
-
Business contact information from publicly available or licensed sources, where permitted by law.
